What is Kundalini?
Kundalini is a term used to describe a powerful, natural energy that exists within every human being. You can think of it like a personal inner battery or life force—something that fuels your growth, awareness, and potential. It’s said to rest at the base of your spine, and when it’s activated, it can bring about deep shifts in how you feel, think, and experience life.

What is a Kundalini Activation Practice?
A Kundalini Activation practice invites your own innate intelligence (your body’s natural wisdom and ability to process, release, and transform) to activate and bring vitality, clarity, and higher states of consciousness through a practice of simply being and saying “yes” to the movements, sounds, and releases it brings forth.
What Happens During a Kundalini Activation Session?
In a Kundalini Activation Session, you’ll simply lie down on a yoga mat or blanket as music with varying tempos and moods plays in the background.
The facilitator tunes into the subtle life-force energy—often called prana shakti—that exists beyond the physical realm. By amplifying this energy, what’s usually subtle becomes more noticeable.
As your own innate energy recognizes this shift, it begins to activate and move through the many layers of your being, supporting deep inner transformation and awakening.

This can lead to physical sensations, movements (both spontaneous and inspired). Sometimes visualizations will happen, insights, and downloads. There can also be emotional movements from the ones we all love, from bliss and pleasure to the less desirable (but still sacred), anger or sadness. You might also find yourself singing, humming, yawning, or making other noises.
Some participants describe the energy as waves, tingles, or pressure moving through the body. Others experience spontaneous laughter or tears as old patterns release. Whether you’re based in Los Angeles or joining virtually, each session meets you exactly where you are—gently inviting your system into balance, alignment, and expansion.

After a session be sure to drink plenty of water, give yourself time and know that releasing will continue for you in your own time.
How Often Should I Attend a Kundalini Activation Class?
This is a cumulative practice, and each session is a unique experience. The practice dissolves layers of pain, restriction, and cuts through the red tape of karma.
You could attend as frequently as once a week, or any rhythm that feels supportive to you. Participants experience higher states of consciousness, self-awareness, acceptance, and deeper connections to all that is, including their true selves.
Online Classes are every Wednesday at 6 pm PST / 9 pm EST.
Accessibility is important to me. Please reach out for a scholarship code for group class if finances are a barrier.

What it is Not?
- This practice is not forced, it is not a “shakti pat.” Nothing is “given.” This is YOUR energy. Intelligent and with the best intention of your soul in mind.
- This practice is not “kundalini yoga.” While sometimes you may feel inspired to move into a yoga pose during the session, you will never be lead or guided by the facilitator to move in any way other than a deep breath or a stretch at the beginning and end of the session.
This practice is not dangerous. It does not try to force anything. In fact, this is an effortless practice and your facilitator will not be trying to make anything happen.
What is Happening?
During Kundalini Activation Practice your own energy is vitalized and moves through your energetic pathways and releases contractions held in your body and etheric body.
People who have already had a spontaneous Kundalini awakening find this practice to be very grounding, and it helps them integrate and participate in the world with more ease.
Who Should Not Participate?
While Kundalini Activation Practice is safe and helps facilitate a natural process of energetic development, it is not an appropriate modality for those who experience mania, paranoia, delusion, or psychosis, Multiple sclerosis, or Epilepsy.
